Detail

The number of damage waves is determined by the quantity of water tiles within a small AOE near the user. The AoE size increases with level. Only walkable water tiles within the AoE contribute to damage waves.

After casting Waterball, a water tile is consumed to inflict one damage wave every 150 ms. Water tiles are consumed from west to east then south to north. When Deluge or Watery Evasion provides the standing water for this skill, the water tiles that will be consumed are dispelled when Waterball is cast. In the event that a tile is blocked, e.g. by Magnetic Earth or Ice Wall, the wave corresponding to that tile is skipped.

NPC Errata

At lv 10, has an increased reference AoE (9x9) and consequently increased DMGwaves (81). However, as there is a maximum skill duration of 10,000 ms, NPCs cast a maximum of 67 waves (10,000 ms / 150 ms = 66.66).
